I just heard that this company, in their first full year of marketing their business, had 31 distributors make over $100K in their first year. This is very unusual for any network marketing company so I felt the need to investigate and provide you with a “real” Organo Gold Review. I am not a distributor for this company – I just like to know as much as I can about the industry!

The founder and CEO of Organo Gold is Bernardo Chua – a legend in the direct sales industry in the Pacific Rim. He actually built a downline of over 500,000 people in 1 network marketing business! I checked out the corporate site and he’s surrounded himself with experienced people. From everything I can tell, the company’s management puts them in good position to succeed.

The primary ingredient in all of Organo Gold’s products is Ganoderma. Ganoderma is an ancient Chinese “National Treasure” according to the website. Now, an advantage that Organo Gold has over other network marketing companies is that they have a product that can legitimately be sold on it’s own. Granted, it’s more expensive than typical coffee and tea but if you believe that the Ganoderma will provide the health benefits that the company claims, then it’s well worth the cost.

I did not see any great marketing plan when I reviewed the website. Don’t fall for the old…just share a cup of coffee with someone and let the product sell itself! While that strategy will make you some sales, it will NOT grow you a massive network marketing organization. Why FamilyIQ?

I’ve have a severe case of writer’s block today so I thought I would share with you my reasons for joining Rod Stinson and the FamilyIQ home based business.

Over the past year or so, I have become pretty proficient in driving traffic and generating MLM Leads Online. I’ve really embraced the whole concept of Attraction Marketing, blogging, article marketing, using social media and the like. All relatively passive forms of marketing, where people ultimately connect with me because of my “brand” or they find me through Organic Search on Google, Yahoo or Bing. Very cool, BUT…

While my overall marketing strategy is definitely duplicatable by everyone (how do I know? I do it!), it is not simple for everyone, it takes time to build your brand (no immediate results), and does require work and some technical aptitude (or the willingness to learn). I was interested in learning new marketing strategies that were even easier and that could help my downlines get off to faster starts making money and not get bogged down with too much training.

In addition to that, I was looking for a business that would pay me at least $1000 per sale.

The Baby Boomers & FamilyIQ

PHONE FEAR!! I think practically everyone has it to some degree or another. But your ability to overcome this can be the difference between earning a few bucks and earning a living with your network marketing business.Well…

GET RID OF YOUR PHONE FEAR!

As you most likely know, I am really into using various online marketing strategies when doing my Network Marketing Prospecting…and they definitely work. I highly recommend using the internet to leverage both your time and effort while building your business. Anyway, when I started to incorporate the phone more into my business is when I really started to see it take off. I’m even talking about ANSWERING THE PHONE and CALLING PEOPLE BACK!! I have literally signed up over 10 people in the past month alone because they told me that

• “You are the only person who put their phone number on their email”

• “You are the only one who answered their phone when I called”

• “You’re the only person who called me back!” (This one was the biggest eye-opener)

This was amazing to me to hear but now I know it’s real because I’ve heard the same comments over and over! I’m not even talking about making sales calls. I’m just talking about GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES.

The key, when being on the phone, is to be yourself. If you are trying to be someone you’re not, that will cause unnecessary stress. Don’t worry if you don’t think you know everything or you won’t have all the answers. The important thing is to be confident, build a relationship, and be the person that people will want to join…YOU!

I know that I do sometimes and I was just on another eye-opening webinar with Ray Higdon last night that once again made me take a step back.

For those of you who don’t know, Ray’s the #1 income-earner in his primary business as well as part of the executive team in My Lead System Pro so I tend to listen to what he has to say!

What he shared on last night’s webinar was all simple stuff that we can all do to help to increase our lead generation and sign-ups and guess what…ALL OF THE STRATEGIES THAT HE SHARED WERE “OFF-LINE” MARKETING TIPS!! Yikes! Now, here’s a top earner that most of us know from the internet telling us that he has built his massive business using off-line strategies as part of his overall marketing plan.

None of the tips that Ray shared require us to be a card-carrying member of the Rocket Scientists Club either. They do require some drive and desire on our part, though. It’s easy to hide behind a computer – and trust me, online marketing has been very good to me and online marketing and blogging definitely works – and never leave your house.

The driving message behind last night’s webinar was this: If you are not having physical conversations (phone or in person) with enough prospects on a daily basis you just will not be able to build a huge business. Period.

I agree with this whole-heartedly. As soon as I started to have more conversations and stopped being afraid of the phone, my sign-up rate improved dramatically.

I am not saying to not spend time on your blog, social media and other online forms of marketing at all. Every form of marketing you do is important. Just don’t lose site of the fact that network marketing is still a “people-business”. The nice thing about most off-line marketing is that it’s either very cheap or free. It just requires ACTION.

A Few Of The Off-Line Marketing Strategies Were:
1. Place 100 Post-It notes around town, in high traffic areas, with a note such as “Superstars Wanted. $50K – $300k. Call For More Information” – this was my personal favorite and 1 I will be putting into action today!

2. Fishbowls – place a few fishbowls around town asking for business cards letting people know that they can win a prize if their business card is selected. This strategy is not a new one but it gives you people to talk to.

3. Go to Local Events – these can be Meet-Up events or other events where your target market will be congregating. Collect as many business cards as you can and call them the next day.

Ray’s closing line, which I like and is not intrusive, (and I’m going to steal btw!) goes something like this: “I’m just gonna throw this out there…Would you be interested in hearing about a side-project that could earn you some extra income?”

To sum it up…Keep blogging (like I am right now!) and providing value and continue your online marketing strategies because they do work and leverage your time greatly. Just be sure to get out of the house every once in a while and get creative!
