So You Want To Start a Home Based Business?
Many start a home based business with one goal in mind…to make a LOT of money! The MLM websites make it seem easy, like it won’t take any work. You know what I mean – just get 2 who get 2 who get 2 etc. They make it seem like it’ll be as easy as taking candy from a baby (which I would never do btw 
). Let’s be honest, nobody would ever open up a franchise or start a “normal” business without a business plan but it happens constantly with home businesses.
In network marketing, it’s very easy to start a home based business. People pay their start-up cost and now they are “in business”. That’s it! You don’t need to incorporate. You don’t need to find office space or build. There’s little to no overhead and the cost for admission is affordable for the masses. But what now?
Generally, it ends there. Some will talk to some of their friends and family and get shot down but most will do nothing because they have no idea what they should do. They don’t have a plan, they start to think that they got in over their heads, and they quit after a few months. That’s the vicious cycle of MLM.
I wanted to talk to you today about keeping your eye on the target or end-goal. It’s cool to have a goal of “making a lot of money” (although I’d recommend being more specific!) but you need to break your target-goal down into smaller, quickly achievable goals in order to experience success and stay motivated. This is extremely important to do when you start a home based business. While it may be simple to start a home based business, to run a successful one requires the same skills that running any successful business requires.
I learned long ago to set little goals, achieve them, and keep progressing to my end goal. It’s also important to be realistic when setting your goals. If you are brand new to network marketing, saying you’re going to recruit 1 person per day into your business is not realistic. BUT, 1 per week is a good aggressive goal to have. It’s like if you were just starting college today and you were one of those new deer-in-the-headlights freshman! You’re not going to wake up tomorrow and graduate, right! It’s going to take 4 years and you are going to have to complete certain assigned tasks (ie. goals) in order to do so.
When I first got started, and decided that I would market my business online, I knew that the money was in the list. Building a list was not my end goal but rather an on-going operation that is still part of my overall business plan. My goal was to make sure I generated AT LEAST 1 lead every single day. It’s easy for me now but in the beginning it was not. And, it was a real feeling of satisfaction when I did it!
Simple goals – how many leads do you need to generate to get a sign-up into your business? If the number is 35, and you want to sign up 1 person per week, then you need to generate 5 leads per day. Then you can focus on what you need to do to generate 5 leads per day. Once that becomes easy for you, you can crank it up and re-adjust your goal.

Voyager Health Review – Can V3 Make You Money (or Lose Weight?)

The V3 products fall into the very crowded health & nutrition MLM niche. Honestly, I’m sure the products are very good, as most MLM products are in my opinion. It’s just really difficult to take at face value that the products actually perform as good as advertised. Alot of the benefit will come from believing in the products and being diligent about taking them and following the weightloss management plan (easier said than done…I know from experience!).
The business, headquartered in Las Vegas, has been around for over a year, which is almost an eternity in the MLM world. That is a good sign if you’re considering either starting the V3 weightloss program or looking to start your own home based business.
Can You Make Money With Voyager Health?
Isn’t this what we’re all interested in? This is always the fun part of my reviews!
In reviewing the compensation plan, it looks to be one that can create wealth if you get to work. It appears that to get the max commissions you want to start with a $225 monthly auto-ship and recruit others who will do the same. You can be on a lower autoship of $44.95 if you want but they only pay out a Fast-Start bonus on the $225 initial order. This is not unusual. You’re income, rank promotions, and coded bonuses will be based on your overall team monthly volume as well as the duplication of others on your team. The more producers you bring in, the more money you’ll ultimately make.
The real key to building your Voyager Health Business, or any MLM business for that matter, will be your ability to recruit like-minded individuals into your business. To target other network marketers and then provide them with a powerful marketing system so they can duplicate. There are various ways to market a network marketing opportunity but I’ve learned that most people don’t want to spend a ton of time on their business.
To counter this issue, I found an extremely powerful “Push Button” marketing system (I know, I didn’t think one existed either!) that can be done effectively in about 5-10 minutes a day. If you use this system, and get your team members to do the same, there’s a very good chance of getting rich with your Voyager Health business!

How To Generate FREE MLM Leads & Traffic
Are you ripping your hair out trying to figure out how to make money online? How to build your MLM business?
Anyone who is serious about building a network marketing business knows that they need to generate a consistent flow of traffic to their website/capture page in order to generate a consistent flow of leads. I do pay for traffic and leads as well but 80-90% of my leads are generated ABSOLUTELY for FREE (it’s the best kind!). PLUS, it never shuts off meaning I am generating leads for my business every day whether I work that day or not. What would that mean for your business if you could generate 20+ leads every single day for free? It’s called “FREEDOM”!
How did a guy who knew nothing about network marketing or internet marketing until 2 years ago figure out how to drive traffic, generate leads, and build a business? My Lead System Pro. LeadNetPro Review – a Simple Duplicatable Marketing System To Build Your MLM
It’s been around for about a year and I was a hold-out until recently. I originally thought that LeadNetPro was too expensive but I’ve done a complete 360 and I want to tell you why in my LeadNetPro Review here today.
As network marketers, we’re always looking for ways to provide simple marketing systems to our teams in the hope of developing duplication among our teams. With duplication comes residual or leveraged income (ie. income from the efforts of others) which is very powerful. Best Free Video Screen Capture Software For 2011
The power of video is unquestioned. Video is great for tutorials – to teach people how to do something. Video also sells! It works great on capture pages and sales pages. If you are completely avoiding using video to build your business, you are missing the boat.
Probably the best screen video capture software on the market today is Camtasia, by TechSmith. I’ve used it and it’s very easy to use and has a built in video editor. The only problem is it costs $299. That alot of money, particularly for part-time network marketers. So if you want to record screencast videos and are looking for a Camtasia alternative, I wanted to share with you 2 viable options. While these alternatives may not be quite as good as Camtasia, they work to record screen capture videos and both are FREE! These are my 2 “Best Free Video Screen Capture Software For 2011″.
1. Jing – also by TechSmith. This software is terrific and works both for capturing screen images or recording video. The only issue I see is that you are limited to 5 minute videos max. Generally, this isn’t an issue but Jing doesn’t do the trick for some tutorials or long sales videos.
For that reason, I needed to look for a 2nd option and found…
2. SM Recorder & SM Converter. This software seemingly allows you to record for as long as you want. I’ve never exceeded an hour and generally set my parameter for 60 minutes maximum. The recorder records in .avi and the converter allows you to convert the video to any format you want. There is no editing feature so, if you need to edit, you will need to have your own editing software.
Both are simple software applications that work well and do what they say. Jing Pro allows you to post your videos immediately to YouTube right from the application and is a bit easier to use than SM Recorder so use that for your shorter videos.
My Emmutec Review – Another Scam or Legit Business?
There’s a brand new home based business on the scene that is creating some “hype”, particularly among newbie network marketers, and it caught my attention because I keep getting spammed with links! There’s not even a website yet but if you’re reading this you are either a member or are looking at Emmutec, which is why I want to provide you with my Emmutec Review. It’s also important to note that I am not a member of this business opportunity so you can trust that this review is unbiased and will be fact based.
The Emmutec Product
I’m skipping providing information about the company because there’s really nothing to be found yet and jumping right into the product! The product is Emmunize, anti-virus protection software for you computer. They claim to be the ONLY virus protection on the market that will protect 100% of your computer. This remains to be seen!
The Emmutec MLM Business Opportunity & Cost
To join Emmutec, you’ll need to pay $59 to start your business and then a monthly “auto-ship” if you will of $12. This will allow you to stay active in your Emmutec business as well as get you the Emmunize virus protection software for up to 3 computers.
The compensation plan is a 3×9 matrix. While you don’t technically need to sponsor anyone to earn in the matrix, you will need to sponsor 9 people to max out the pay plan. They are paying out “Fast-Start” bonuses when you personally sponsor new reps. You’ll receive a $20 fast-start bonus and your sponsor will receive $10. This is a positive because I like MLMs that pay Fast-Start bonuses because it helps to keep people in profit and slows the attrition rate.
Now, while it’s not required that you recruit people into the business you should keep in mind that the matrix commissions and matching bonuses are being paid from the $12 monthly auto-ship. $12 is very inexpensive, which is what appeals to many new marketers, but also is not much money to go around. You will need to have a LOT of people on your team to earn any decent money. That’s just a fact.
That’s not really a negative, since you need to build large teams in any MLM to earn the money that you see people “claiming” or “advertising”. It’s much too early to say that Emmutec is a scam. My initial reaction is to say that they aren’t because they do have a real product, even if it eventually ends up not measuring up to their claims of being the “best”. Any company that creates a product should think it’s the best so I don’t see an issue there.
So, the bottom line of this initial Emmutec Review is that it’s still really early in the game, the product’s effective is still an unknown, and the business opportunity is just getting off the ground. It could be a fun business and only time will tell if they are able to last the test of time. Understand that if you plan to join, you need to prepared to recruit a lot of people.
