best-discount-travel-club

If you’re like many people who’ve been hit by the economic downturn but still enjoy traveling and taking family vacations, then you’ve no doubt looked at Time Shares at some point and possibly even discount travel clubs as a Time Share Alternative. Why spend $10,000 – $15,000 on a time-share when you can join a travel club for as little as $697 and enjoy even greater travel value for pennies on the dollar. More and more of these travel clubs are popping up and I wanted to provide you with some information that you can use in your search.

What’s The Best New Discount Travel Club On The Net?

I’ve researched a few of the better known discount travel clubs, including Global Resorts Network (Click to Read Global Resorts Network Review) and Primo Vacations among others. I compared the product and price and have come to the conclusion that the Best Discount Travel Club that I have seen on the net currently is Primo Vacations.

Why Is Primo Vacations The Best Discount Travel Club?

I first wanted to compare products among the top discount travel clubs, and price was the first thing that jumped out at me. Many people today are looking for Time Share Alternatives. A product that will allow them to travel to exotic or luxurious locations, but not lock them into having to go to the same resort every year – and not having to pay the annual maintenance fee (usually $500 – $1000/year).

That’s the appeal of the best discount travel clubs. You pay one-time, and a fraction of the cost of a timeshare, yet you have the ability to stay in the exact same resorts for literally pennies on the dollar. Many of these travel clubs cost anywhere from $1000 – $5000 to join. Still a great deal when you’re comparing them to the cost of a time-share. BUT, Primo Vacations is currently selling their lifetime membership for only $697! This really jumped out at me.

Are they selling Primo so cheap because it’s an inferior product? Not as far as I can tell. Most of the best discount travel clubs offer very similar resorts. These clubs typically offer, as a primary product feature, unbooked timeshare units. What that means is that you’ll be staying in top-notch resorts throughout the world. A feature that Primo has that the others do not (that I could tell anyway) is that you stay at the timeshare resort as an “owner”. What that means is that you will receive all of benefits of timeshare ownership without the annoyance of having to attend timeshare sales presentations and getting badgered throughout your entire trip to buy a timeshare. This is a HUGE benefit!

Another Advantage Of The Best Discount Travel Clubs

Another advantage is the income opportunity afforded by the discount travel clubs. If you refer your friends to the product and they buy it, you’ll earn a commission. Primo Vacations, for example, will pay you $500 for every referral! The other clubs also payout commissions. This can be a very enticing benefit. There are people who are actually earning a full-time income just by referring people to Primo Vacations or some of the other clubs.

If you enjoy travel, but don’t want to spend the $10,000 – $15,000 for a timeshare and don’t necessarily want to be locked in to the same resort and maintenance fees, take a look at a discount travel club. You’ll get the same benefits without the headaches and cost.

Primo Vacations Make Money
I’m sure that some of you are looking at both of these companies, as I did recently, so I wanted to write my honest opinion for those of you who are taking a look at joining either the Global Resorts Network or Primo Vacations Club home based business opportunity. Let me first say that I am a member of Primo Vacations Club but will be as unbiased as I can in providing you with this information since I did also look thoroughly at GRN. What I will do in this article is provide you with my thought process when going through my due diligence and maybe some of what I say will resonate with you and help you make your decision!

First of all, both companies provide the business model that I was looking for.  A higher ticket item with a Get Paid Today commission structure. When you make a sale, you get paid. No more waiting for your inactive downlines!

  • PRODUCT: Both businesses have basically the same product, if it’s not identical. It’s a terrific discount travel club membership which offers its members savings of up to 80% on resorts, hotels, all-inclusives, and cruises. Well worth the membership cost if you like to vacation.
  • COST: Right off the bat, price is a big difference and one that I think needs to be considered strongly. GRN costs $3095 while Primo Vacations costs $697 to start your business. GRN also charges an annual associate fee of $100, which does not include a marketing system. If you want an already established GRN marketing system, of which there are a few, that will cost an additional $50 – $150 per month. Primo Vacations has a $39.95 monthly fee that includes a complete and robust marketing system with some really great capture pages that you can plug into.
  • COMPENSATION PLAN: This is an area that you really need to look closely at, since it’s really the most important factor in investing in a home based business (besides believing in the product and the company!). Both companies provide very good compensation plans.

Global Resorts Network pays you $500 for your first 2 sales  and then $1000 for every direct sale you make thereafter. You will also receive $1000 for every sale that your direct referrals make and $500 for their referrals’ sales. GRN also has a “perpetual” comp plan where it’s possible to earn $1000 for sales made by team members up to 5 levels deep but you’ll have to watch the video to see how that works. In my opinion, it looks good on paper (if you can understand it!) but won’t work for most in reality.

Primo Vacations has a more straight forward comp plan. It’s a 1-Up, so your sponsor receives the $500 on your first sale and you receive $500 for every sale that you make after that. And, you make $500 for every first sale made by your direct referrals. So, basically $500 for your direct sales and $500 for the first sale of your first-level team members.

My thought process in analyzing both compensation plans was this…

While GRN’s compensation plan offers the potential for greater “passive” income from the actions of your team members, will this really happen? How many network marketers are there who will be able to actively and consistently sell a $3,095 product, even if you train and mentor them? I wish the answer was all of them but we all know that’s just not the case. Particularly because the market for home-based entrepreneurs looking for +$1000 businesses is about 1%. It’s a much tougher sell. Sure, there are some people who are experiencing terrific success with GRN but these people are few and far between.

Primo Vacations, on the other hand, is in a price range that is affordable to  about 85% of all network marketers. That gives you a much larger audience to sell to. Plus, that price range is easier for most network marketers who may not have a tremendous amount of experience, to sell. This was a key point in my thought process. Can more people be successful selling a $697 product or a $3095 product? You know my answer!

I believe that the travel industry, an $8 Trillion world-wide industry, is the place to be for success oriented home based business entrepreneurs. Both of these companies offer a legitimate business with lucrative compensation plans and a terrific product. Do your due diligence before joining either. If you decide on Primo Vacations, when you join my team you receive my mentoring every step of the way. I will assist you with your marketing efforts as well as I will create a personalized, fully SEO’d & Search Engine Submitted blog for you at no cost ($497 value)!

Primo Vacations Is NOT A Scam!

"Primo Banner"

It cracks me up that everybody researching a home based business opportunity wants to know if it’s a “scam”! The fact of the matter is that most of the “review” information that you can find online about network marketing opportunities are written by people who have motives that you can’t always determine…they are either looking to sell you on the business or product or slam their competition so that they can sell you on their business or product. That’s it!

I wrote an article a couple of weeks ago about Primo Vacations and I have found that I am getting traffic to my blog (which is what I want!) from people searching Primo Vacations Scam. It just seems a normal search term in the home based business industry but I don’t think it should be. Although, TVI might make me look bad on that front! TVI unfortunately looks like it may have been a scam all along. That’s too bad…it’s like the few Major League baseball players who were caught doing steroids. It’s tough to look at any player now who is successful and not think that they must be doing steroids too! But, imagine when you researching an offline business…Is Red Lobster a scam? Is American Airlines a scam?

Primo Vacations may not be for everyone, because nothing ever is, but it is a legitimate home based business owned by Rob Hanley, who also owns and runs the successful YourNetBiz program. There is nothing  illegal or scammish about either the company or owner. It’s not an MLM but rather a direct sales business where the product you sell actually has value on the open market that is at least equal to its’ price, which is unusual. If you take the tour, you will note that not a penny was spared in creating the best marketing system that I have seen on the internet. Plus, the people involved in marketing the business are all top marketers who take their businesses very seriously. A good sign in my book!

Now, the real reason that people tend to think network marketing businesses are scams is that the masses do not succeed. It’s really that simple. I’ve spoken many times about the high failure rate in network marketing. But, the reason for the high failure rate in my opinion, is that people never learn how to properly market their business and they don’t spend enough time trying to learn and/or they aren’t willing to spend any money to advertise. You need to spend either time or money (or preferably both) to achieve the desired network marketing success. It’s not hard…you just have to “want it’!

Continue to do your due diligence before joining any program and research your sponsor as well. Just realize that most “scam” articles have an ulterior motive :) To see the Primo marketing system and decide if joining Primo Vacations is the right decision for you: Tour Primo Vacations

Primo Vacations Review Scam
Since Primo Vacations is a brand new company, there is not a lot of information out there to assist you with your due diligence. That is why I wanted to write this Primo Vacations review today. Everyone, when researching a home-based network marketing business wants to know if a business is a scam! This makes me laugh since very few businesses actually set-out to be scams. They become scams, in many instances, due to the mismanagement by the owners. Anyway…

I want to first say that Primo Vacations definitely is not a scam. It is a completely legitimate business owned by Rob Hannley, who also owns the popular, profitable and legitimate YourNetBiz network marketing company which has been around since 2005. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, my review of Primo Vacations will be broken down into 4 sections: The Product, The Cost & Compensation Plan, The Marketing System, and My Conclusion.

The Primo Vacations Travel Club Product

Primo Vacations product is a discount vacation club membership that includes condos, timeshare properties, resorts, cruises, and airfare/car rental. Trips can be booked either online or over the phone. Primo is simply a membership to a travel club that offers full-service vacation booking at substantially discounted prices. The product can be sold as a stand-alone or along with the business opportunity. The membership competes for the business of people who would normally either buy a timeshare or book their vacation online or through a travel agent. On their website, Primo states that their rates are much lower than rates you will find on sites such as Orbitz, Travelocity, or Expedia. Members receive a certificate for a FREE cruise when they become a member.

Primo Vacations Cost & Compensation Plan

The cost for the travel club membership is a one-time fee of $697. This gets you a lifetime membership and full-access. If you are joining for the business opportunity, there is an additional fee of $39/month for the back office and marketing system. Compare this with Primo’s main competition Global Resorts Network which retails for $3,095! You can read my Primo versus Global Resorts Network comparison HERE

Primo Vacations is a direct sales business, not an MLM, and the compensation is based on the 1-up G.P.T. (Get Paid Today) compensation model. For every $697 sale you make you receive a $500 commission with your first sale commission going to your sponsor (1-up). What this means is that you will receive $500 for the first sale that each of your personal recruits make AND the first sale that person makes and so on. This is perpetual leverage at it’s best and allows you to earn from the work of others.

Make Money With Primo Vacations

The Primo Vacations Marketing System

If you join the business opportunity, you will receive what I believe to the best online marketing system on the net today. The system is very clear and persuasive. It allows a prospect to either purchase right then or to request a call-back from the company. This is refreshing that the company is actually willing to talk with prospective business partners and answer their questions. In addition to the marketing system, Primo Vacations also provides Personal Business Assistants (PBA’s) to all of their associates. These PBA’s will call and email your leads for you! This frees the associate up to market, and eliminates the part of the business that most people hate…calling their leads. This service is unique, is not an outsourced service, and does not cost the associate.

Conclusion

To conclude, Primo Vacations is a legitimate network marketing business opportunity that is owned by a company that’s been in business since 2007. The business is priced very reasonably and has an in-demand product that has value and can be sold on its own without the business opportunity. If you are looking to either add a business to your portfolio or are looking to start your first home-based business, and don’t want to join a Multi-Level Marketing company, Primo Vacations is the best I’ve seen.

Can You Make Money With Primo Vacations?

primo-vacations
I assume that this is the exact question you are asking yourself if you are reading this article today. “Can I Make Money With Primo Vacations?” The simple answer is “Of course you can” but let’s delve deeper…

Primo Vacations is a “Top Tier” home-based business opportunity started by Rob Hannly of the successful YourNetBiz program. Rob knows what he’s doing, has deep pockets, and is wildly successful. This puts you in good hands which is extremely important. Primo Vacations is a discount travel club membership — really the same one that you get with Global Resorts Network — for a low one-time payment of $697 rather than $3,095. But I digress…

Primo Vacations is NOT an MLM. It is a Direct Sales company. You’ve heard the term G.P.T. which stands for Get Paid Today. That is what Primo Vacations is. You get paid immediately and directly from your customer rather than having to wait for the company to send you a check. Of the $697 payment, it is your responsibility to forward $197 to the company and you keep $500. You keep the $500 whether you sell the product to someone who just plans to use the membership to vacation or if you sell to a home based business entrepreneur who plans to market the business opportunity.

Not only do you receive $500 for each sale, but since the compensation plan is a 1-UP, you will also receive $500 for each of the first sales made by your team. This is perpetual leverage and continues to infinity!

A few things that really set Primo Vacations apart from most other home-based businesses are:

  • The Marketing System: The marketing system is Simple, Duplicatable, and Powerful. It’s the best I’ve seen online…Period. This system will make sales for you!
  • Personal Business Assistants: No other company that I am aware of has this and includes it at no-cost to the associate. As a member of Primo Vacations, the company provides you with a PBA who will call your leads back for you to help convert them. The PBAs are seasoned, professionally trained sales people. Do you think this feature alone will help you close more sales?
  • The Price Point: In my opinion, the price-point to start your Primo Vacations business is perfect. Especially in today’s economy. To be able to start a business for under $700, that can realistically earn you a 6-Figure income if you work, really opens up the door for a lot of entrepreneurs. Yes, you will need to make more sales than if you were selling a $3000 product, but there is a much greater market for your product. It’s a wash in my book.

In conclusion, you can make a lot of money with a Primo Vacations business. As always, your income is dependent on you. The more effort you put into the business, the more the business will pay you for those efforts! Just keep driving those targeted leads to your marketing site and let the marketing system and your personal business assistant do the rest!
