Amway/Quixtar is probably the most successful network marketing home-based business opportunity in existence. It has been around for over 50 years and is in almost every “typical” home based industry niche…Nutrition/Wellness (like Quixtar Energy Drinks), Beauty, Bath and Body, and Home Care Products. Their 2008 sales exceeded $8 Billion (with a “B”) in revenues and they currently have over 3 million independent distributors! Amway/Quixtar is proof that the network marketing business model works, and works very well.

I have never been affiliated with Amway but know people who are. My image of the distributor is someone who holds house parties and participates in more traditional forms of marketing a home-based business “offline”. This way of marketing your business can cause angst for some and takes a very long time to generate any sort of substantial income. How many people can you physically speak with every day?
