My Unbiased “My Lead Company Review” – Read Before Taking Action!
There’s a new network marketing company on the block called My Lead Company, created and owned by home business entrepreneur JR Jackson, that caught my eye. It’s getting a lot of “hype”, particularly among newbie marketers but not exclusively. I did not join and for that reason I can provide you with a truly unbiased 3rd party My Lead Company Review.
The company literally just just went into soft-launch this week where members can access their back office and start earning commissions so this review is definitely timely! You’re obviously reading this because you’re either considering joining and are doing your due diligence or you are already a member and researching to see if you made a good decision. In either case, I’ll try to help you out!
JR Jackson is a proven success in the MLM arena, having earned millions in his 18 years in the industry. He’s been the #1 recruiter in 5 different MLM’s. I’m honestly not sure of his experience owning a network marketing company himself. This doesn’t concern me tremendously at this early stage. If the company continues to grow after launch – and most companies do not grow after launch – then JR can address the management team.
What Is My Lead Company?
My Lead Company is really 2 things. A company that provides business opportunity leads to network marketers to help them build their primary MLM opportunity AND they are also a business opportunity themselves.
The Leads: The fact that leads are the product for this company is pretty unique. One of the primary reasons for failure in network marketing is that people do not generate enough leads to build their business. My Lead Company is attempting to help by providing leads that they generate themselves and then “sell” to the members who are on a monthly auto-ship to purchase a lead package every month.
The packages are very reasonably priced and range from $24.95 for 200 leads per week to $199.95 for 5,000 leads per week. Most people will most likely purchase the least expensive package while they should be purchasing the top package if they plan to work the business opportunity BUT that’s a story for another day!
While I’ve never been someone to purchase leads myself, I do think it’s a great way to get people generating marketing activity. And with enough positive activity will come sign-ups! The quality of the leads will go a long way in determining the ultimate long-term fate of My Lead Company.

The Business Opportunity: Like I mentioned, My Lead Company is also set up as a business opportunity. Probably not one to work as your primary but one that can create an additional income stream for you.
The compensation plan is a “Straight-Line”, meaning that it’s a single leg and everyone who joins the company is placed next in line. There are 4 ways to get paid: 50% Fast Start bonus (on the 1st order placed by your direct recruit), Commissions on Group Volume, Bonus Pools and a 1% Founders Pool. You will need to personally sponsor to earn any decent income, as with an legitimate MLM (I don’t think My Lead Company is a scam by the way).
My Lead Company Review Summary
I think it’s a pretty cool idea to offer leads as a product to network marketers who can never have too many leads. As I mentioned earlier, the quality of the leads will ultimately determine the long-term fate of the company. The lead industry is cluttered with garbage and if the leads (and training provided as to how to work the leads) prove to be solid, then it will be a positive for everyone in network marketing and My Lead Company will become an enormous success. Time will tell.
As I mentioned early, I do not purchase leads personally. I have in the past with little success. Learning how to generate your own leads and build relationships with them is a much better business model for overall success in my opinion.

I don’t know if he can recover now. There are a few still trying their best to keep it alive, but it has gone from an average of 800 a day to maybe 1% of that joining. His forum is only updating a couple times a week and no new conversation is taking place. I believe the only chance he has to recover is to individually contact the affiliates and admit his screw ups, but ONLY when it is completely fixed with what he kept promising everyone before it nosedived. Short of that i believe it is dead.

I was personally contacted by J.R. months prior to the launch and was within the first 100 to join. I was very optimistic about the success of My Lead Company. It started off great in pre-launch with nearly 20,000 affiliates. As time went by after the “official” launch he failed to listen to the affiliates, mainly in regards to income and volume reporting. This mistake, in my opinion, killed his company. He failed to implement in his software volume reporting, how commissions were earned and explanations of how commissions were tabulated. By this point most people were questioning his integrity, especially when the masses were earning $0.84 (yes, 84 cents) on their first checks with no explanation how they got that amount. I attended a conference call about 10 days ago, where he says he will have these reporting tools (by contract) by the 16th of December from his programmers. It was supposed to be available over 6 weeks ago. I think his integrity is now at its lowest because no one is willing to trust him and the fire behind the growth is gone, and people feel he may be delaying these tools intentionally to recover his $200,000+ he supposedly invested in the creation of My Lead Company. I personally will not promote the company because of too many inconsistencies. I think he obviously jumped the gun too quickly on his launch and it will cost him dearly. You can only blame your programmers so many times before people realize you don’t have it all together. In my opinion, pass on this opportunity. The only one profiting appears to be J.R.
This company is a joke. The owner, JR is ripping people off left and right. I ordered 1 lead package. I was charged for 3. None (zero) were delivered. The contact page on the website does not work. JR ignores my emails and phone calls. I am reporting this company to the FTC this coming monday. Do not waste your money with this company. He will soon be out of business.

Good review… I’m generating a fair amount of leads online but I know that there are new interent marketers won’t take the time to learn how to generate their own leads. I think this company will succeed based off that concept.
I joined yesterday, and looked for the leads, asked where they were, was told they had been sent, then “stop it”, “don’t bother me”. What kind of advertising is that.

Hey… the theory of it sounds good but in reality, what is the chance of making the money back that you put into getting leads? That is the part that I am unsure about. It seems like you should be given equal opportunity to make money without or without spending anything. Also, if you decide that you don’t want to purchase any more leads… do you stop making the income from various levels and how easy is it to cancel the lead subscription? Just a few thoughts, perhaps someone can answer them for me!! Thanks!

Great post Steve. Your advice is very sound and truly unbiased. I am an MLSP member already but I haven’t really been able to generate leads as much as I would have liked (I take full responsibility ). Now, My take on MyLeadCompany is that, I can get ppl that are actively seeking for a business for pennies on the dollar, load them into my funnel and still end up at the same place probably spending less than PPC and the like. The only way to beat this would be free organic leads.
I am a newbie of just 2 yrs online and in the industry and yes, I have spent thousands of dollars on purchased leads but somehow, if JR stays true to his word on the lead quality, this is a cool idea for everybody. I joined it for the leads more than for the opportunity itself.

Hello Steve, I’ve read several of your reviews and I’ve enjoyed your insight on this one. I didn’t know about JR Jackson’s success in MLM. I’m glad he’s proven. The more proven success in the industry the better. I’m with you in that I prefer to generate my own leads.
