How do you know if you are going to make money in your primary network marketing income opportunity? How do you know if you are on the right path? I’m going to provide you with a very simple way for you to know. It’s a number…TEN. You need to be generating at least 10 LEADS PER DAY to your network marketing business. This is a numbers game and out of 10 leads per day, you can expect that 1 person will upgrade and join you in your business (if your marketing is targeted). This may not happen immediately but will over time.

How can you generate 10 leads per day to your home based business?

Here are 3 simple steps that you can begin implementing TODAY to help ensure your network marketing success:

1. Attraction Marketing: People ultimately buy from people they know and trust. Branding yourself as a leader, either online or offline, will have people coming to you. This marketing approach will help you to generate those “auto-pilot” leads that you so often hear about. It takes a little time to get rolling but is well worth your time and effort.

Some other steps that you can take to begin building your personal brand is to start a blog, join social network sites and forums, and basically just start getting your name out there. IMPORTANT: When you create your profiles, make sure you use your real name and post pictures of yourself. DO NOT use a picture of your dog for your profile or some cartoon character. People need to get to know YOU!

2. Auto-Responder: This should be a given but I am always surprised at how many people do not have an auto-responder. You need to build your own list and you also need to be able to follow-up with your leads via email. It has been said that the typical network marketer needs to see an offer 7 times before they buy. This is exactly why you need  to keep your message and your name in front of your prospects. This also helps to build trust.

3. Lead Capture Page: You can either use a company supplied capture page or create your own. Either way, you need one! A typical lead capture page will capture the prospects name and email address. I use lead capture pages along with attraction marketing because I feel that you need both. Then, you need to decide where you are going to market your lead capture page. Some places to consider include Google Adwords, List Builders, & Social Media.

Between capturing leads on your blog or through your lead capture page, you should be getting at a minimum the name and email address of 10 people per day. When you have this information in your auto-responder, you have a lead. 10 per day will have you rolling along in the right direction very quickly!

TVI Express is a very popular discount travel home based business. According to TVI, there are over 400,000 members and growing and the business opportunity has already created over 60 millionaires in India alone. The compensation plan for TVI is a company forced 2×3 matrix. This type of compensation plan has been around in network marketing for years and is extremely popular today.

The top board, when you cycle, pays a whopping $10,000! There are a few issues that I have heard about TVI, from friends of mine who are in it. Lead Generation…can be done through a variety of online marketing strategies. Some include Social Networks, List Builders, Video Marketing, E-mail Marketing, Classified Ads, SEO, Pay Per Click and many more. There are endless ways you can promote you and your business online. You really need a full understanding of these methods. I see many people online everyday who think they know what they are doing but are actually hurting their chances of sponsoring new reps.

The Auto-Responder…is your sales robot that works for you 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The purpose of the auto-responder is to keep your prospects informed and keep you fresh in their mind. I sponsor many reps months after they found me and months after they started on my auto-responder list. This tool is essential to your success.

Multiple Offers…is a way for you to create additional income through your online marketing efforts. There are always great affiliate programs you can promote to your prospects and your team. One advantage of multiple offers is you put immediate money in your account even if the prospect doesn’t join your TVI Express business. It’s crucial that these products are high quality and value…you don’t want to promote junk (and we know there’s a lot of that out there!).

Personal Branding…is a very powerful network marketing strategy and really a must if you plan to make it big in this industry. People are looking for leaders to follow…not companies or products. If you want to attract quality people you must put self branding in place. There is an easy way to do this even for a beginner and the secret lies in the way you present yourself online.

The Sales Funnel…this is basically a web page designed to drive leads directly through a series of events that ultimately ends in the presentation of your TVI Express business. There is a right way to do this and a wrong way. I will tell you that if you are promoting a company replicated TVI Express website then you are doing it wrong. It takes a blend of meeting the market demand with the right offer combined with the tools and knowledge to guarantee their success.

If You Do Not Have A System Like This In Place for Your TVI Express Business…and You Are Not Generating AT LEAST 15 Leads Per Day…Then Take A Look At The System That I Personally Use To Drive Laser Targeted Network Marketing Leads To My Business Every Day:

This is a follow-up in my series of articles about generating free or inexpensive network marketing leads. The majority of network marketers that I work with are working within the framework of a pretty tight budget. That’s OK because there are ways to generate yourself a lot of network marketing leads on the cheap if you utilize certain marketing strategies.

Today I am going to talk about using List Builders. Specifically 2 of the best list building programs that I have found on the internet – Viral URL and Viral Hosts. I am a Gold member in both and cannot recommend them highly enough for the budget conscious marketer. I am not including my sign-up links because this is not meant to be an advertisement. You can join both for Free but will need to upgrade to receive the real bang for your buck. I am just letting you know about these programs because they are unique…they operate like a cross between a safelist and ad exchange/solo ad.

With Viral Hosts, if you join for Free you will be able to have 1 domain hosted and be able to email your downline every 7 days but will not be able to email the member base, which is what we are talking about here. The Gold membership allows you to email 3,000 random members every 3 days and the Diamond or Elite level will let you email 6,000 random members every 3 days.

With Viral URL, you can email members for as a free member but will need to accumulate credits like I spoke about yesterday in my safelist marketing article. Since both programs are owned by the same guys, Colin Klinkert and Frank Bauer, the same upgraded membership levels exist with Viral URL as do with Viral Hosts.

The way I look at it, I am paying well under $1 per lead with both programs which is a good thing! Both Viral Hosts and Viral URL have extrememly responsive marketers as their members. I’m not sure why these lists are so responsive but they are. I will typically get between 5-10 sign-ups from every mailing I do, and I’ve heard of people generating many more leads than that.

Both programs operate like a safelist in that are emailing random members of their membership base. They differ from safelists in that you are emailing to the member’s contact email rather than a list email for a safelist. If you are able to write catchy subject lines, your emails have a much better chance of being opened because you know that they will at least be seen!

Using List Builders is one of my favorite strategies to generate free and inexpensive network marketing leads. As with anything, you need to be consistent when using this strategy and change up your subject headings to see what works. While I generally have a very good response, I have also been shut out. Do not get discouraged when this happens (hard to do I know!). If there are any other list builders which operate similarly, I would love to know about them. As network marketers, the most important thing that we can do in our business is generate leads. We need to be able to create a consistent flow of network marketing leads into our business. Preferably at the lowest cost possible. But…how do we do that?

There are many marketing strategies that you can implement to achieve this goal. Many of the top strategies cost money and require that you have an advertising budget. I understand that there are a lot of people just getting started in network marketing who might not have the budget to run pay-per-click campaigns or use the more expensive strategies.

So…what does the network marketer on a budget do to generate high quality, targeted leads into their business on a daily basis? There are numerous ways to achieve our goal, which I will cover in subsequent articles. Today I want to discuss Safelist Marketing.

Safelists are databases of network marketers, who all sign up so that they can email their ads to other network marketers. You can join for Free and remain a free member to use the site, which makes safelist marketing a completely free strategy. You can upgrade your account so that you will not have to read emails but to keep this strategy free, you will need to read the emails of other members.

It is advisable to join credit-based safelists. A credit-based safelist will give the members who read the emails credits for doing so. You can then use those credits to send your ads. The number of members you can mail to will typically depend on the number of credits you’ve accumulated. The advantage of credit-based safelists is that there are many members who are using this as a free strategy to generate network marketing leads so emails do get read.

When setting up your safelist account (and, as with all network marketing sites you should use a free gmail account because of spam filters at other email carriers), you will need to set up a “list” email address. This is the email address that the safelist emails will go to. You will get thousands a day which is why you do not want to use your contact email address!

I recommend utilizing the “manage labels” feature of gmail to separate your emails by safelist. You’ll want to set up a label for each safelist. That way, it’ll be much easier to focus on any given safelist that you are accumulating credits for.

The key to effective safelist marketing is you need to put a major emphasis on your SUBJECT. If your email doesn’t get opened, it can’t get read! The subject must entice the person. I like to use subjects that entice me to open emails. Makes sense, right? If I want to open the email I assume that others do as well. After that, it is imperative that your opening paragraph capture the readers attention. Even if it doesn’t, your splash page or website capture page still has a chance to grab them because that is what the reader will see after they click on the link to claim their credits.

It’s important to track your marketing efforts so that you will know which safelists are responsive — have enough active members who are reading the emails and you are generating leads from them — and which are not. You also need to remain consistent. You need to do this strategy every day, or as often as possible, because safelist marketing is a numbers game like all lead generation strategies.

I use safelists in my marketing efforts to generate network marketing leads for my business. Personally, I do not recommend using this strategy as a stand-alone, but rather as an additional free or low cost strategy in addition to whatever else you are doing. It shouldn’t be ignored because of the low-cost. If you can afford it, I would recommend upgrading your membership in a few safelists so that you don’t need to open emails to be able to mail. This will help you leverage your time to focus on other marketing strategies.
